Nitmoi’s purpose is to create sustainable products that are built to last and offer daily functionality. Products that make sense on every level, meaning we operate with minimal environmental impact. Explore here our design & sustainability principles.

 

1. SUSTAINABLE LEATHER

We only use eco-friendly leather, meaning our leather has been treated and tanned all naturally with vegetable tannins. Creating a biodegradable leather product without any toxins or metals, means our leather is fully recyclable and can be given back to nature. Read more about vegetable-tanned leather.

2. DURABLE & FUNCTIONAL DESIGN

A sustainable product is not only made out of sustainable materials but also uses materials in a minimal way, is durable and of high quality. When combining all these design elements, you end up with a product that can be enjoyed for a long time, and recycled at the end of its lifetime.

3. ECO-FRIENDLY PACKAGING

All effort counts. Besides working with sustainable product materials, we also make eco-friendly choices when it comes to packaging and other promotional materials. Our packaging is made out of sustainable grass cardboard and recycled materials (FSC Certified).

4. SMALL CARBON FOOTPRINT


We are working towards a smaller footprint, and in the near future, we have the ambition to become a zero-emission company. We have limited our footprint by building our own circulair studio, the place where all products are designed and handmade. And we offset the climate impact of shipments to customers and suppliers.
